Take a Stand by Sitting Down

In August of 2016 Colin Kaepernick did something that surprised America. He stood up by sitting down.  A preseason football game, a song, a flag, a bench, and a man who sat down. 

The first time Kaepernick protested (what he is now so infamous for doing), there was an uproar. People in the crowd were calling him a “coward,”  “someone who should be banned,” “not a true American,” but then Kaepernick explained why he knelt: to show more respect to the flag. “Real” Fake News

Our president, Mr. Donald (Duck) Trump claims that he himself came up with the term “Fake News.” Well, that’s just fake news. In fact, when he was asked why he claimed that, he responded… “Well, all this ‘News’ is based off of me, so I obviously invented fake news.” Trump (*ahem*ahem* Drumph) has also claimed that Taj Mahal casino was built BEFORE the Taj Mahal in India. He says he remembers building the Taj Mahal in India, yet in a picture in the Oval Office, he has a picture of him building the LEGO Taj Mahal.

The Promised Land: Will the Eagles Pull Through?

This is week ten in the NFL season, and all of the teams are thinking about the playoffs.

The Philadelphia Eagles are currently 4-4. Which is playoff potential. On the other hand, they have a very hard schedule for the rest of the year. They are in last place in their division, though it is not by much.
