As most people know, there have been huge games that have come out since summer 2017. There are games that aren’t based on anything like Destiny and Destiny 2, then there are games that are based on real-life moments or movies, like Star Wars Battlefront 2. Since Overwatch released in late 2015, Team Fortress 2 (Valve Software) and Overwatch (Blizzard Entertainment) have been the two rival FPS’s on the market. Being almost a decade old, TF2 has been crushing all other games in it’s genre, until Overwatch showed up. Since then, both games have been canceling each other out, with both of them at the same value and popularity. What are the drawbacks and pros of each game? Is newer always better?
Nintendo has always had a legacy of making great consoles (not counting the Virtual Boy). The Nintendo Entertainment System resurrected gaming, the Nintendo 64 revolutionized 3D gameplay, and the Nintendo Wii perfected motion controls. As Nintendo has a history of incredible consoles, it causes hype every time they announce a new console, and never has that been more true than with the Nintendo Switch.
Virtual Reality is taking over the world. Slowly Virtual Reality is becoming a source of revenue for more and more large companies such as Microsoft, Google and Facebook.
When Oculus first began funding their Rift VR headset in 2012, it didn’t seem to the world that in four years they would be competing with large companies like Valve in a rush to show the world what VR can do.
